Timika S. Chambers

Hi there!

Thank you for wanting to know more about me!

Like you, I am a spirit hand-crafted by our Creator and here for a divine purpose. I often refer to this Creator as God, Infinite Intelligence, and Infinite Spirit, but know that it is not what we call our Creator, but what we believe in–good or evil.

I am a mother of two beautiful spirits and married to my college sweetheart. I love reading books in nonfiction and self-help books and watching biographies, bloopers, and clean comedies. In addition, I enjoy making healthier versions of traditional foods, including my childhood favorites such as Snickers and Twix candy bars, butter pecan and black walnut ice cream, and others.

I obtained my BSN from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1998 and my MSN from the University of Missouri, Saint Louis, in 2007. I am a trained Lifestyle and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach with over 20 years of healthcare experience in various settings. I am a licensed RN in the state of Missouri.

My Beliefs About Life, Meaning, and Purpose

Life is not out to get you but aims to help you express your highest version. You have access to infinite wisdom to help you live your best life. You are never a failure. Our Creator fashioned you out of love, and love never fails. Every experience contains something you must learn about yourself. In addition, every experience elicits treasures for you to apply to your next experiences.

Your life is not going to be, nor should it look like anyone else’s. You have specific gifts and talents intertwined with your experiences. You are a mirror of the truth here to embody, nourish, and express love through your gifts and talents.

Everyone has a divine purpose to fulfill on earth. Our Creator placed gifts and talents inside of everyone. And it is through our experiences that our purpose is revealed. Greatness leaves trails for others to find their way through the dark valleys and the transcending mountaintops. You have greatness within you. Nothing external defines us; we have already been defined, justified, and glorified through birth.

My Story Doesn’t Define Me

My experience with the misuse of my body does not define me, nor my experience with an absentee father, raised solely by my mother, what my ancestors endured, or how others have treated me. Yet, within me, like you, is everything needed to transform experiences for good.

I do not blame anyone for my life, but I look to learn from life and break the cycle of pain with a generational cycle of love.

Therefore I know your life experiences do not define you. Within you is the same power that helps you transcend your experiences. Your power lies in your heart and mind.

  1. No child is ever responsible for what an adult does.
  2. Experiences don’t define us.
  3. Within every experience are treasures to help us with other experiences.
  4. Every experience builds on the next.

Nursing Helped Me Find My Way

Nursing played a pivotal role along my healing journey and gave me many tools to help heal from the inside out and break the cycle of pain by creating a generational cycle of love.

I am a well-rounded, trained healthcare professional. I’ve worked in various healthcare settings. Positions I’ve held/roles include (med-surg SN, GN, and RN). Med-Surg ICU and hospital floating pool, Lead Nursing instructor for Pharm didactic and lab (PN and RN), RN instructor, clinical and labs (OB and Peds, IV therapy, med-surg (RN and PN), and Fundamentals (PN), disease management/telephonic nursing, clinic and Triage Nurse, Lead Nurse of Medical Clinic, Certified ACE Personal Trainer and Certified Diabetes Educator, and currently a Lifestyle and Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, and writer.

Giving Back to Nursing

As an NCLEX tutor, I bring a unique perspective, a cumulation of my faith and personal and professional experiences. I help NCLEX candidates to organize and simplify information and bridge gaps in knowledge and application. My clients become more confident in passing their NCLEX, becoming great nurses, and extending their education. I have several students currently in a Master’s program.

I pass down the success practices that helped me excel in school (Honor’s Roll, Beta Club, the Dean’s List, lifetime member Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, past Sigma Theta Tau member, scoring 75 on my NCLEX exam, Keynote Speaker for Fortis College of Nursing, and others) to help future nurses.

Nursing is my first field of helping people to fulfill their divine purpose. I aim to reach people globally and help them fulfill their divine purpose.

Helping Others to Remember Who They Are

My mission is to help people remember who they are by unveiling the truth in people’s hearts and minds by writing and displaying stories that educate, empower, and illuminate the divine spirit within all of us. Elongated Bio:

Out of a desperate need to understand why people hurt others, around ten years old, I followed my mother’s instructions and sought God for myself. Many events followed after my plea to nature for help, including obtaining and reading the entire New King James Bible, storing the Lord’s prayer in my heart, and identifying with Jesus. Throughout my personal & professional life as a BSN and MSN-prepared nurse, I observed how emotional wounds often lay at the root of many physical ailments and unhealthy adult behaviors. I spent years learning about the generational cycle of pain and longed to help others heal their wounds from the inside out. In 2011, before the birth of my first child, I wondered what principles I would teach him. That fall day, I wrote ten principles I learned from my mother and decided to share them with the world. I self-published in 2013 with Balboa Press. Currently,  My Mother’s Words of Wisdom is under editing. I continued to dabble in writing, and in 2016, I wrote my first 50,000-word manuscript during NaNoWriMo. In 2017, out of a desire to help others heal from potentially traumatic experiences, I  wrote the first draft of my memoir dealing with childhood sexual abuse. In 2019, I obtained a Freelancing position with Diathrive, a diabetes company,  to help empower people with diabetes to live their best lives.

In 2020, I used the Coronavirus storm to write and give back to nursing as a coach/tutor for individuals taking the NCLEX. Since then, I have helped many nursing graduates achieve their goals of becoming Registered Nurses, rebuilding their confidence in themselves, and aiming higher in their education and life. In 2021, I wrote my first screenplay, Fifth Generation, from one of my NaNoWriMo projects. Since 2021, I have written an autobiography, four screenplays, three memoirs, and updated several children’s books and poetry pieces. I am also editing two nonfiction self-help books. Compass is part of My Greatest Teachers’ Series. My mission is to help people remember who they are by unveiling the truth in people’s hearts and minds. In addition, I engage audiences with educational, empowering, and inspiring messages on my website, medium, Facebook personal, Facebook Business, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and my Create A Generational Love Cycle podcast.

My hobbies include transforming the foods I love into healthier versions,  gardening, watching biographies, comedy, and transformational movies, reading, and spending time with my husband and two children, a boy and a girl, in O’Fallon, Illinois.

I envision that millions own, nourish, and express their divine purpose and spiritual fruits (Galatians 5:22-23). People realize their bodies are the vehicles for their earthly mission and commit to achieving and maintaining optimal health.   In addition, millions of people heal from their wounds, breaking the generational cycle of pain with a generational Love cycle. I’ve already started helping candidates for the NCLEX RN fulfill their divine purpose of becoming Registered Nurses.

Join me on Heart-to-Heart Mondays to get to the root of the Cycle of Pain, dismantle it, and do the work you are here to do.
