Heal from the Inside Out Series #16: Choose Freedom over Imprisonment

Hi there!

What does freedom look like to you? Is it because you are not behind bars or in jail that you consider yourself free? Do you consider yourself free to eat, do, and wear what you want?

But what about when you allow your emotions and feelings to deter you from a clear mind (emotional and mental bondage)? Are you still free when you allow your emotions and feelings to keep you in the past? To consider vengeance? To feel anger, anxiety, guilt, and shame consistently.

Do you consider yourself free when you bottle all of the emotions above and like-minded ones inside of yourself, feeling as if you are going to implode at any minute? Are you free when you do something (e.g., overeat, over-exercise, over-drink, etc.) to take your mind off of these emotions and feelings for a short time, only to have them present themselves again and continue the cycle of harming your body?

Freeing yourself is not blaming or judging yourself or others. Instead, you realize that you don’t have to be in any type of bondage, physical, emotional, mental, social, or any other. You choose true freedom, not a copycat, look-alike, or other illusion.

In Heal from the Inside Out Series #17: Freedom or Imprisonment on Creating a Generational Love Cycle, I share some of my personal experiences with the cycle of pain and the healing and life-giving that resulted from it.

So, I ask, “What does freedom mean to you?”

Pixabay/Pexels.com 247851

Hi there!

What false beliefs are you navigating your life with? How you see yourself is who you become. Are you in a situation or going through an experience that you feel you are losing yourself? How is your overall state impacting those you love? What would it take for you to feel freer? To have the conviction of your divine purpose? To express yourself perfectly?

In other words, are you living a life of conviction to your truth?

In today’s episode, The Seeds We Plant Series #19: Conviction on Create a General Love Cycle, I share my thoughts on planting the seeds of conviction and its role in breaking the generational cycle of pain.

Heal from the Inside Out Series #15: Unloading the Baggage of Rejection

Hi there!

Carrying a baggage of rejection is not uncommon. At any time, we can feel like others don’t accept us. We are not good enough and even question our purpose in life. Rejection can show up in many ways during our earthly journey, including but not limited to:

1. Procrastination or delaying our work, including healing from past events,

2. Displaying emotions such as anger, anxiety, resentment, and vengeance,

    3. Refusal to do the right thing because the right thing wasn’t done for you,

    4. Being late for appointments,

    5. Negative self-talk about,

    6. Speaking up for ourselves and others,

    7. Doing the work we don’t enjoy,

    8. No spending time with family and friends,

    9. Missing events on purpose,

    10. Not caring for our bodies, material possessions, and others, or

    11. Choosing actions that may harm instead of helping others.

Today, I discuss one essential spiritual element that can help unload the baggage of rejection. It doesn’t have to be our motive for doing good or evil.

Heal from the Inside Out Series #38: Vengeance is not a band-aid or cure. Create A Generational Love Cycle With Timika S Chambers

My mother told me that I did not have to do anything to anybody. Vengeance can be tempting. It’s easy to think that belittling, demeaning, cursing, and physically hurting someone may heal our wounds; however, vengeful behavior only deepens the wound and can change us into something unbecoming (not our true selves). Whatever we consistently think of, we deposit the seeds within us, and these seeds will eventually produce a harvest.Keywordspain, healing, self-expression, vengeance, love, mentalhealth, relationships, personal growth, emotional well-being, self-worthSummaryIn this conversation, Timika S Chambers explores theprofound impact of emotional pain and the weeds of negative thoughts that can hinder personal growth and relationships.
