Healing from the Inside Out Series #3: Releasing Shame

Hi there,

Are you allowing shame to infiltrate your inner garden?

Shame is another powerful emotion that lets you know you have veered off the path of your truth. Like fear, it can cloud your vision of a meaningful life if you allow it to grow inside you and bring mental and physical turmoil in the form of diseases and illnesses. You have the power to release shame and prevent its nutrition-robbing abilities. It may look like it belongs to you, but it doesn’t. See shame for what it is and refuse to allow it to grow inside of you. Anything that doesn’t belong to you always rises to the top”Š”””Šyour mind. Through your mind, you have the power to remove this weed shame, which will enable your spiritual fruit to grow.

Your mind (inner garden) will help you identify shame. As you sit quietly with yourself, you can remove the roots and growth inside you In its place, you can replant the spiritual fruit of peace by using affirmations and principles to ground yourself. You can restore your inner garden to its rightful environment through this energy work as a gardener.

Heal from the Inside Out Series #38: Vengeance is not a band-aid or cure. Create A Generational Love Cycle With Timika S Chambers

My mother told me that I did not have to do anything to anybody. Vengeance can be tempting. It’s easy to think that belittling, demeaning, cursing, and physically hurting someone may heal our wounds; however, vengeful behavior only deepens the wound and can change us into something unbecoming (not our true selves). The Seeds We Plant Series #32: Return Energy to its Rightful Owner

Hi there!

Regarding projected pain, it is better to give back than receive. Your soil becomes more fertile as you experience emotions and feelings, including anger, jealousy, shame, guilt, and the like. The energy we receive from another person reinforces how we feel, instilling the seeds deep within the core of our being. When your emotions and feelings go to another level (e.g., blaming, badgering yourself and others in thoughts and words, and unwelcomed or unhealthy physical contact), you reinforce this harmful, often debilitating, and ricocheting energy and weeds within you.

We can return angry, hateful, divisive, and demoralizing actions and words to their rightful owner and encourage our children to do the same. As caregivers and parents, we are not around our children 24/7. But we can help our children develop a firm foundation so that no matter how the winds of storms blow, they remain firmly grounded or have the tools to replant themselves.

Energy Work is becoming conscious of your internal state, clearing away the things that do not bring a fruitful, wonderful harvest, and becoming more of yourself with the right nutrients.

Healing from the Inside Out Series #2: Mastering Anger

Healing from the Inside Out Series #2: Mastering Anger

Hi there!

Anger is a strong emotion and can prevent us from seeing ourselves and others clearly and life’s meaning and purpose. Anger can deter us from a life-giving path to a life-draining one.

But nothing masters us unless we allow it to do so. We can experience things without becoming the events in our lives. Daily, we must assess our garden and inner foundation for harmful thoughts (weeds such as anger) that can rob us of our spiritual fruit and an abundant harvest.

I started a new series, Healing from the Inside Out”¦.actually one week ago without knowing it, and I’m excited to share my thoughts on the opposite side of planting seeds. My Healing from the Inside Out series will address chronic emotions that can lead to chronic preventative health conditions. Mastering our emotions and feelings is part of achieving optimal health as we do our life’s work. We must face them and put them in a healthy perspective to have the freedom, joy, and peace we deserve.

As you know, research reveals that many people experience cardiac events on Mondays. We hold onto events and their residual emotions and feelings throughout the week and on weekends. We allow anger, anxiety, fear, guilt, shame, and the like to root themselves in us through our nervous system (our communication systems and the roots of our bodies), giving them full access to our cells. When we don’t feel good about ourselves or our lives, we extract joy from our heart, the center of our garden. In addition, our emotional state often leads to other unhealthy behaviors, putting us at risk for chronic preventative behaviors, including heart disease.

But we don’t have to struggle with our health. We can take a deep dive into our garden daily and assess and excavate anything that doesn’t belong. We can remove the hard objects that calcify our hearts and blood vessels. We can provide enough light, love, and other healthy nourishments. We can provide just enough water (truth) and replant our virtuous seeds through our actions and words.

We don’t have to live with consistent anger. We can be free of its grips, but first, we must believe that we deserve to be free from anger. Next, we must face the root of our anger, which often lies in the perception of events. For example, chronic anger may have its roots in unfulfilled expectations. We expect people to treat us a certain way, and when they don’t, we sometimes invite anger to come in and justify our emotional state. Finally, we must let go of the thoughts that keep anger in its place and choose a healthier way to see our experiences. My mother often told her children, “No one owes you anything.” She always encouraged us to pay more attention to actions instead of words, saying, “You are in control of yourself.”
