Hi there,
According to research, People with Diabetes (PWD) are at an increased risk of developing digestive issues. But there are things you can do to maintain optimal digestive health.
Your Gastrointestinal (GI) system plays a major role in extracting the nutrients that help sustain optimal body health. So let’s take a look at this fantastic system.
About the Gastrointestinal System
Your GI system consists of your mouth, esophagus (long tube to your stomach), small and large intestines, rectum, and anus.
Hormones, muscles, and nerves are pivotal in helping your gastrointestinal system break down food, absorb nutrients, and move waste out of your body. Your GI system deconstructs the food you take in and extracts the nutrients your body needs.

The Seeds We Plant Series # 11: Thankfulness

Hi there,
I hope all is well with you and yours! This past week was a good reminder that virtues should be part of our daily lives. We must consistently reinforce the harvest we want. And life always gives us opportunities to put what we teach into practice.
In this episode, Cameron Chambers, my son, joins me to share his thoughts on thankfulness. Our children learn so much in the world. Many of which take them further from the truth. We must conversate with our children about principles and virtues that remind them they always have a choice. Gratitude brings contentment and can shine the light in dark places of our lives. Gratitude has been the two-way street of preserving my inner fruit and keeping unwanted visitors at bay. In addition, thankfulness plays a major role in being present with our children so we can break the cycle of pain by creating a generational love cycle.
As always, let me know your thoughts.

Good morning to you!!
May you know that you are appreciated every day and not just one day a year.
I am so thankful for my mother Thelma Jones. I didn’t really know what motherhood entailed until I became one. However, as a girl, I knew of many of my mother’s sacrifices. I admired her strength. My mother desired to give us a better life than she had. I have so many things to be grateful for, including my mother sharing her life experiences and life principles.
Thank you so much mom!
Make this lifetime great mothers because your experiences can be the saving grace for future generations.
Remember, you can become what you didn’t have. We are the door to infinite love to our children.
