Book Review: I love you, Mom!: Cherished word gifts from my heart to yours

I Love You Mom, Book by Blythe Daniel and Helen McIntosh

During a restful December 2021, I realized I needed to begin the New Year by sharing my mother’s life principles. I’ve blogged about my mother’s words of wisdom before, but I wanted to go more in-depth and share the treasures I collected over the years. Then in January 2022, I received an email informing me that Blythe Daniel and her mom, Helen, wrote I Love You Mom, a devotional book dedicated to mothers. Immediately, I signed up to learn more about their book, and it didn’t take me long to support a much-needed reminder for mothers and aspiring mothers around the world.

Here is my review of I Love You, Mom!: Cherished Word Gifts from My Heart to Yours:

I Love You Mom!: Cherished Word Gifts From My Heart to Yours empowers and enlightens mothers, aspiring mothers, and soon-to-be mothers with Bible stories and verses, heartfelt memories, and prayers.  Mothers are in a prime position to regenerate the world, and Blythe and Helen emulate this fundamental Truth in their devotional book.  The open-ended questions allow space for readers to dig deep into their souls.   In addition, the attributes used throughout the book remind others of God’s purpose for mothers.

I have several beloved sentences in I Love You, Mom.  One of my favorites is “Their eyes had to focus not on their steps, but what God promises.”  It’s so easy to focus on our circumstances and past.  But, this sentence encourages readers to lift their eyes to something greater than what they see.  Most importantly, Blythe and Helen give us the strength and vision to seek God’s promises.

Thank you, Blythe and Helen, for not only honoring mothers but creating a  much-needed reminder of the motherhood role.”

I don’t know what it’s like growing up without a mother, but my biological father wasn’t there for my family. What I didn’t have, I created in my life from what I did have. If you are struggling with how you want to be as a mother, I encourage you to buy this book and use it to create a generational love legacy.

I Love You Mom release date is currently set for March 8th 2022, but you can pre-order it. ❤️

Scrumptious Roast Beef Omelet

Hi there!

One day my husband to a small restaurant in Ohio. With curiosity, I ordered the roast beef omelet. Today, I made another version of this delicious omelet, and it was scrumptious!!!😍😁❤️. I added some thin slices of roast beef, mushrooms, bell peppers, and mozzarella cheese. In addition, I added onions to my leftover egg foo young gravy.

There is always a way to get your veggies in your meals.
