Motherhood: Answering The Call

Since my teenage years, I wanted a boy and a girl, preferably twins. In 2010, I miscarried. I did not even know I was pregnant. I blamed no one for I believed the bible verse, “and we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28).

I took my loss and turned it into unwavering determination & hope that I can have the family I longed for. For years, I did not know that I could get pregnant after experiencing sexual abuse and years of birth control usage.

Eleven years later, I have a healthy 9-year- old boy (going on 10) and a 7-year-old girl (going on 8). Motherhood is not an easy role to slip into and sustain, but I am determined to leave a legacy worth fighting for.
