Happy Mother’s Day to You!!!

Good morning to you!!

May you know that you are appreciated every day and not just one day a year.

I am so thankful for my mother Thelma Jones. I didn’t really know what motherhood entailed until I became one. However, as a girl, I knew of many of my mother’s sacrifices. I admired her strength. My mother desired to give us a better life than she had. I have so many things to be grateful for, including my mother sharing her life experiences and life principles.

Thank you so much mom!

Make this lifetime great mothers because your experiences can be the saving grace for future generations.

Remember, you can become what you didn’t have. We are the door to infinite love to our children.

Remember Who You Are Series #7: Forgiveness

Hi there!

Initially, forgiveness is often thought of as a process, but just like many things, the more we do it, the more we become it.

Forgiveness is a natural ability that all of us have. And, you are in your natural spiritual state when you no longer think about forgiving someone or have strong emotions and feelings such as anger, jealousy, resentment, and the like tied to them. Anytime we hold a grudge against others, we give this energy of pain more of our power. Learn more on Create a Generational Love Cycle, Remember Who You Are, Series #7: Forgiveness.

Many of us are spending a lot of energy, money, and time…literally, making ourselves sick with guilt, shame, and resentment. It’s time to let the past go.

Homemade Pancakes with a Flaxseed Twist

Hi there!

I hope your Sunday is off to a great start! Sundays are usually traditional meal days for my family and me. My nursing career, training as a health coach, the desire to eat healthily, and live a quality life fueled my passion for adding a healthy kick to the foods I loved growing up. Last Sunday, I fixed pancakes and wanted to have them again. I love the mixture of the nutty (Flaxseeds), sweet, and a little salty taste that my pancakes offer.

The added bonuses are that there is so much freedom to home cooking, and I love that my children get to see that they can have the foods they love at home.

As always, make this lifetime great because you still can!
