ReSurface My Purpose

“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10).

In 2018, I was fired for the first time from a job. I was told that to keep my job, one of the things I had to do was dissolve my company. For some time, I knew that my time with my current employer was coming to an end. Plus, I had come too far to turn back from resurfacing my purpose in life.

Three years later–a move to the West Coast, pneumonia for the first time, and a coronavirus pandemic, I feel that I am closer to who God created me to be.

Over 20 years ago, I lived my mother’s dream of becoming a nurse. Although nursing has had an overwhelmingly positive impact on my life, I never felt at home.

Now, I am standing at another door. I am excited about the next chapter of my life.

Make this lifetime great!
