What Makes You Different from the People Who Projected Their Pain on You?

Hi there!

Life presents us with different situations to express our true selves. We must be careful in not harboring ill will towards another or remembering past behaviors for the wrong done. Instead, we unclothe our experiences and take what resonates with the truth inside ourselves. Just because someone acted a certain way is never an excuse to repeat the behavior. And minor renditions of conduct are the same behavior.

We cannot fully express ourselves if we are holding unto the past. Every thought seed grows inside of us through our cultivation of it. Let go of the past by giving the projected pain back to the person. Remember how you felt and choose to help others avoid such experiences.

As a parent, we cannot fully be available to our children if we harbor the actions and inactions of others. I believe as parents, we give our children what we didn’t have and more. We start from the inside, helping them see that experiences don’t define them and that they have what they need to put experiences in a healthy perspective.

Instead of saying I am not as bad as the other person, consider replacing the phrase with I choose to align with the truth in me. Your spirit knows even if you are unsure of what this truth is.

In today’s Create A Generational Love Cycle episode, I discuss another essential principle to creating a legacy from the inside out. As always, let me know your thoughts.

Are Experiences Meant to Make You Better or Bitter?

Hi there!

I hope all is well with you and yours, and you are getting some much-needed rest!

Self-reflection is critical to the evolution of the human species. Whatever you believe may be passed on to future generations, and as you know, our actions have a direct and indirect effect on others. So, I do have some self-reflection questions for you.

  1. What do you believe is the purpose of experiences?
  2. Do experiences help to bring out the truth within you? If so, what truths are you accepting or refusing?
  3. Are your experiences shaped your thoughts? If not, then what are your experiences shaped by? If so, what are your experiences teaching you about your thoughts?
  4. Do experiences help to express the virtues within you, or are experiences out to get you? If so, what virtues (compassion, love, grace, mercy, and the like) do you need to express now?
  5. Is life supposed to be a struggle? Why or why not?
  6. How can I change my thoughts to be more life-sustaining to fulfill my purpose and enjoy the fruits of my work?

Whatever you believe about life often comes to fruition in some form. And, whatever you believe, you share with others through your actions (including inactions) and words. The generational pain cycle (disease, violence, low self-esteem, and the like) didn’t start on its own. But, within us is the power to change the thoughts that created pain.

Whether fear or love, darkness or light, it first occurs within and then without.

In today’s podcast, Create a Generational Love Cycle, I share my thoughts on experiences, including a potentially traumatic childhood experience.

Make this lifetime great because you can!

Are You Listening?

Hi there,

Often, we know what to do but don’t trust ourselves (the higher wisdom within us). Are you taking the time to check in to get vital information about your next steps? All of us have access to the truth. The question is, “are you listening and aligning yourself with the highest version of yourself?” When we aren’t listening, we must ask ourselves questions to get to the root of rejecting the truth. Why do I not trust my inner wisdom? What am I afraid of? Do I deserve to have the life I desire?

Often change involves getting to the root of our actions. Many people experience cardiac events on Mondays, often related to chronic unmanaged stress. You don’t have to be a statistic. Out of the heart flows issues of life, and I want to help you remove blockages that interfere with achieving and sustaining optimal health as you fulfill your divine purpose. On Mondays, I discuss common issues I’ve seen that often increase inner and outer stress and offer ways to align the body, mind, and spirit for a healthier version of you as you fulfill your life’s purpose.

Make this lifetime great because you can!
