Gratitude
Sometimes, I just wish time would stand still. It feels great to stand in the presence of beauty and peace…I can faintly hear children in the background laughing, and their joy brings peace to my soul.
How many of you have a gratitude journal or take time to voice or write about your blessings and what you are grateful for? Many of us get so busy, including myself, and we may not take time to just breathe, relax, and be grateful for the many blessings seen and unseen ( not in a car accident, not diagnosed with cancer today, you had a chance to speak or see a loved one today). Nothing is promised to us…no life is promised. Before we lay our bodies down for rest tonight, speak or write at least one think you are grateful for. I do believe that gratitude brings more blessings. I have witnessed more blessings in my life when I am more grateful for life and it’s blessings than complaining about what I do not have or what didn’t ” work out the way I wanted it to.”
With gratitude,
