Missing? No. Just unrealized potential

“The greatest story every (any)one can tell is the story of their life. Just don’t let the climax of your story be unrealized dreams.”
― Unarine Ramaru

My biggest fear is that at 80 years of age, when I look back on my life, I will regret that I did not follow my passion and this nagging desire in my heart to live my best life.   I have seen so many talented individuals (i.e. able to draw anything and everything with so much precision and detail), and wonder why they were not furthering their education and developing their talent.

It is the realization that one can die (and many have) without fully expressing and sharing his or her God-given talents, skills, abilities, and experiences.

No matter what you have been told or the negative thoughts you have allowed to consume you, you can live your dreams. We need to stop asking why I do not have this or that (thin body, high IQ, ability to type, celebrity friends, and others) to make my dreams come true. We need to, in other words, stop making excuses and start living. Baby steps can lead to more confidence and bigger steps to reach your goals.

I have found that once I decide to do something, doors start opening. Solutions to perceived problems come.  Opportunities are available.   We must believe that we can do whatever it is that has been put on our heart to do…that thing that you keep going back to…that you keep thinking about.  You are thinking about it for a reason (getting chills as I write this).

We must be decisive.

We are all here for a reason.

What have you got to lose? Life is for the living and not to stand in the corner or side lines and watch everyone else live his or her life.

This quote is a friendly reminder for me and is on my vision board.

“I can tell you that what you’re looking for is already inside you.” Anne Lamott

I ask again …..What have we got to lose?

Look at you.
