Exodus, Healing, and the Promised Land: Undoing, unfolding, revealing and returning to myself.

Hi there,
I hope all is well with you and yours.
It’s been a while since I last blogged. So much has happened within the past couple of years — a trip back home, identification and revelation of key past experiences, and a timely and divinely orchestrated exodus to the Promised Land. I look forward to letting revelations unwind through my fingers on the screen (and transferred to a working manuscript).
What kept me somewhat grounded during the whole ordeal was knowing that there are no coincidences. Life is in tune with our unhealed wounds, unanswered questions, our hidden treasures, the lessons we need to learn, and the truths that need to spring from us. Infinite Intelligence absolutely knows how to extract whatever we need in the moment from us and turn it into light. Light that we can use to free ourselves and others, even when we don’t fully understand the encompassing power of our brightness now that we have been flipped from the inside out and then flipped again with a truer understanding.
My trip back to Illinois started off with me wanting familial support and ended with me caring for and sending my 96-year-old grandmother back to her spiritual place, all reminding me of Biblical stories of Moses and David.
I prayed.
God answered.
I thought.
God replied.
I believed.
God gave.
It’s amazing how books, movies, songs, and words can enhance our experiences and become a momentary theme for growth. One week from this past Friday, I finished reading A Well Trained Wife, and that Sunday, my family and I saw the movie Tron: Ares.
My husband told me about Tia Leving’s memoir. The use of profanity usually sets off alarms, and the majority of the time, I stop reading, listening, or watching something. But Tia’s book was different. Her writing is impressionable, words raw with a hint of innocence, and filled with what I believe are undeniable cell-infused truths. I started to relate to much of her work, including the concept of programming and “keeping the image.” Overall, I found A Well Trained Wife by Tia Levings to be raw, invigorating, insightful, and refreshing. It was actually one of the best books I’ve read in a long time.
My daughter wanted to see a movie that Friday, but there were a lot of rated R movies, and I wasn’t sure about Tron: Ares. Plainly put, it didn’t look interesting. But we went for it on Sunday, and as it turned out, the movie kept everyone’s attention…no nodding off whatsoever. My son loved it, and I found out that he is a real Greek mythology fan. Additionally, there was a perfect balance of action and dialogue in the movie. One of my favorite lines is, “It’s not your purpose. It’s your programming,” which summed up what I believe was an essential theme for A Well Trained Wife. I highly recommend you check out both if you haven’t already done so.
Programming is something that starts in vitro and can impact our healing, the right expression of our gifts, self-concept, image, and worth, relationships, and how we treat others. Daily, we walk a fine line between true and false expression. I believe our earthly journey is not only one of proper alignment of the human and spirit, but also one of self-acceptance. We all have to find our way back home to our true selves despite potentially traumatic experiences, opinions, fears, and imposed limitations set by others and ourselves.
The organizing and planning part of me is thinking of blogging once a week for consistency. Either way, I know I will have something to write about. I’ve decided to expand my blog on Substack.
One thing that keeps impressing on me is that Infinite Intelligence is in the pauses, delays, and silences all to reveal and heal the heart, which is one of the most important entities in its creation of the human being. Often in the pauses, delays, silences, and moments of despair, anxieties, doubts, and fears rise because they need to be cleansed from us to allow unwavering faith to settle in our hearts and minds.
I’ve had a lot of pauses in the past few years as I have been unfolding, releasing, and revealing the trueness of my being.
Until next time,
Timika
