Life Principles I Learned From My Mother #13: Nothing Happens Overnight

Hi there!

There are many quick fixes out in the world, but there are no quick fixes or external aids that can heal us from the inside out. Instead, inner truths (life principles) help us avoid many potholes throughout life. There are roots within every disaster or surprising experience, and many of these roots extend far into our lineage.

But, when we realize that within us is the power to strip away the weeds within our hearts and minds and cultivate our spiritual fruit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, Galatians 5:22), we see the power in the principle that nothing happens overnight.

You are more than your experience. Therefore within you is the power to transcend life.

Make this lifetime great! You still can!

The Seeds We Plant Series #61: Addressing Weeds in Your Inner Garden Introduction Create A Generational Love Cycle With Timika S Chambers

Inside of us is our spiritual garden. The heart is the soil. The nervous system is the vine that feeds the rest of our bodies, including our brain. What we grow inside of us, we become and experience. Weeds (consistent negative emotions and feelings) seek fertile soil, no matter what. There is no fear in this concept, for the power to rid ourselves of negative emotions and feelings resides in us. Through daily assessment and replanting of our spiritual seeds, we can yield the harvest that gives us the abundant life we are here to have.
