Let It Wait Until The Morning

Last year, in 2019, was my first time in letting a problem worry me beyond my sleeping hours. Rest is such a vital part of healing the body, mind, and spirit. Now, even more I understand the Bible verse “therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (Matthew 6:34)

That Monday morning in 2019, I remembered what has been true for the majority of my life. The answer will come in the morning. Although, I still struggle at times with this truth, I am learning to trust this wisdom regardless of the circumstances that lie before me.

Our body needs rest from all of the stress we incur throughout the day. I truly believe that chronic stress is at the root of many, if not all, chronic preventable health conditions and rare conditions. The lack of proper rest promotes chronic release of stress hormones.

The human body is capable of healing beyond human and medical understanding. When we allow the actions of others to impact our well-being, we hurt ourselves and not them.
