Although the experiences are different, key principles are not. Anger is still anger, and compassion is still compassion. Betrayal is still betrayal, and forgiveness is still forgiveness. Fear, guilt, resentment, and vengeance have not changed. Still, faith, forgiveness, love, and truth remain the same.
And the ability to choose is still the ability to choose. Nothing has overcome us unless we believe it so.
What we sew, we reap first in our minds and then in our experiences. We are never too big to forget that once we were there. We remember the darkness. Now, let me help you remember the light.
