Resiliency: An Often Overlooked Superpower

How often do you overlook that regardless of what you’ve experienced, you are still here? One of the reasons we continue to wake up each morning is because we have work to do. No experience identifies us. Our life circumstances can awaken us to the often dormant powers within us.

Keep rising every day, knowing that you have everything you need to meet your growth opportunities and become the best You.

In today’s podcast, I share when I first heard the word resiliency and how you, too have access to this superpower.

Do you give the same advice you give to your best friend? If your best friend said she was dirty, stupid, and unworthy, what would you tell her and why? Would you affirm his thoughts if your male best friend voiced the same descriptions?   The love we feel and express comes from the inside first.  How can you become your best friend? For one, you can choose to love yourself no matter your experiences. You choose your consistent thoughts and spoken words.  You believe you deserve respect. You speak your truth and feel obligated to do so.  You are patient with yourself and realize growth is a process. You teach others by example how you want them to treat you and are consistent as much as possible. You challenge harmful words with the truth. You realize that you are a magnificent creation, and nothing can change that. Thanks for listening and commenting! Timika
