The Seeds We Plant Series #8: Self-discipline

Hi there,

I hope all is well with you and yours! No matter how challenging parenting may seem, I’m blown away by the opportunities we have to impact the world in our home first positively. My mother often told me to take care of my home first.

Self-discipline was our devotion topic for last week, and yesterday, I experienced a shift in my son’s reaction to an event. Listen to this week’s podcast on my series, The Seeds We Plant on Create a Generational Love Cycle.

The Seeds We Plant Series #11: Thankfulness with Special Guest Cameron Chambers, My Son Create A Generational Love Cycle With Timika S Chambers

In this episode, Cameron Chambers, my son, joins me to share his thoughts on thankfulness. Our children learn so much in the world. Many of which take them further from the truth. We must conversate with our children about principles and virtues that remind them they always have a choice. Gratitude brings contentment and can shine the light in dark places of our lives. Gratitude has been the two-way street of preserving my inner fruit and keeping unwanted visitors at bay. In addition, thankfulness plays a major role in being present with our children so we can break the cycle of pain by creating a generational love cycle. As always, let me know your thoughts. Make this lifetime great because you still can! Timika
