Healing from the Inside Out Series #6: Tradition

Hi there!

It’s common to continue traditional beliefs and behaviors because others have done it before us. We may feel obligated to fill someone else’s shoes and guilty if we don’t measure up. But, my mother often told us (and still does) that “Just because someone else did it, doesn’t mean you have to.” She also encouraged us to “Create the family you want.”

Our earthly journey is one of self-actualization. We are here to reflect the truth, the divine Intelligence that created Earth, its inhabitants, and beyond. Everyone has a divine assignment with a unique blueprint (e.g., color, religion, culture, socioeconomic status, parents, traditions, etc.) suited for our earthly curriculum. Yet, ultimately, we are here to align with the truth inside of us and represent love.

We may find ourselves speaking up for what’s right (e.g., inclusion, equality), ending unhealthy relationships, or starting companies/programs that enable and promote human dignity, freedom, individuality, integrity, and respect. The truth doesn’t seek to please others, clicks, or limit us. The truth wants us to be free.

Listen to Healing from the Inside Out Series: Tradition on Creating a Generational Love Cycle, and let me know your thoughts.

At the end of my podcast, I ask you a question that may be pivotal to your healing from the inside out.
