Are You Your Best Friend?

Hi there!

Do you give the same advice you give to your best friend? If your best friend said she was dirty, stupid, and unworthy, what would you tell her and why? Would you affirm his thoughts if your male best friend voiced the same descriptions? The love we feel and express comes from the inside first. How can you become your best friend? For one, you can choose to love yourself no matter your experiences. You choose your consistent thoughts and spoken words. You believe you deserve respect. You speak your truth and feel obligated to do so. You are patient with yourself and realize growth is a process. You teach others by example how you want them to treat you and are consistent as much as possible. You challenge harmful words with the truth. You realize that you are a magnificent creation, and nothing can change that.

The Seeds We Plant Series: Reliability Create A Generational Love Cycle With Timika S Chambers

Reliability means more than just being trustworthy, but acting from the core of your truth. We don't need people to show us how to be more reliable. We have emotions and feelings (data) that can help us do what is right at the right time. We know what it feels like to have people change their minds about doing something. The more we role model reliability with our children (being an open vessel, tending to our garden and ridding the weeds, replanting (repetitive reliability), and providing the proper nourishment to the life-sustaining seeds with us), the more our children will want to do the same. It's a good feeling when you can trust that people will keep their word. Reliability shapes the minds to expect the best in others because the best is in them. The more we focus on what is possible, the more likely the possible will happen. So, speak from the heart. Refuse to let your emotions and feelings dictate your life, and say what you mean and mean what you say. Make this lifetime great because you still can! The power to change the thoughts of discord, divisiveness, and the like is within you. Timika
